Rings 

 

Explore basic elements for making simple one wire rings. It's amazing how many designs can be made just from one little wire.  Your imagination is the key.

The instructor will cover:

  • How to size rings

  • Shape and form rings on a mandrel

  • Use a bench vise to create multi-wired wraps

Materials required for making rings:

  • 12 In. metal ring mandrel   without groove

  •   2 oz. ball peen hammer 

  • Ring sizer

  • Small bench vise

  • Flat and round nose pliers

  • Pin Vise - wire twisting pliers

  • Flush cutters and end cutters

  • 18 or 20 gauge wire
